Amy Niles
With more than 30 years of experience, Amy Niles is a knowledgeable healthcare executive with a passion for growing sustainable health organizations, advocating for patients, and building strategic partnerships to address public health needs.
As Patient Advocate Foundation’s Chief Mission Delivery Officer, she leads the organization’s mission delivery strategy through a variety of organizational-wide initiatives and oversees a high-impact educational portfolio that empowers people to navigate, access, and afford care. In addition, she oversees the organization’s clinical affairs, grassroots ambassador network, and marketing and communications.
Prior to its strategic merger in 2026 with the Patient Advocate Foundation, Amy led the PAN Foundation through significant growth and expansion—transforming the organization from a direct patient services organization to a national voice and advocate for healthcare access, equity, and affordability. Amy developed the framework for PAN’s national advocacy platform, established its grassroots advocacy program, and launched an annual in-person Advocacy Action Summit. She also oversaw the launch of PAN’s strategic national polling initiatives, including the State of Patient Access report, and the establishment of the organization’s Patient and Family Advisory Council.
Amy is a subject matter expert on healthcare access issues and patient assistance. She has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, TIME, and Fortune Magazine, among others, and she has authored and co-authored numerous opinion pieces and articles about today’s most pressing barriers to care. She regularly speaks at national conferences and to patient advocacy groups.
Before joining the PAN Foundation, Amy helped lead successful startups and growth initiatives, including the Together Rx Access program. She co-founded, developed, and served as President and CEO of the National Women’s Health Resource Center (NWHRC), which grew into a national clearinghouse for women’s health information under her leadership. Amy is a member of the Center for Value-Based Insurance Design’s Advisory Board.
