Continued service for our Nonprofit Program Administration division

Program implementation, financial assistance administration, and case management services will remain seamless and consistent.

Nonprofit portal for accessing financial assistance

Following the July 1, 2026, launch of the TotalAssist program, we continue to offer a dedicate portal for nonprofit organizations. Through Patient Advocate Foundation’s online portal for NonProfit Patient Partners, you can enroll patients in financial assistance.

There will be no disruption to case management services, including our CareLine case managers.

TotalAssist and new grants

All new grant applications will be through TotalAssist

On July 1, 2026, Patient Advocate Foundation launched TotalAssist, the nation’s largest charitable patient assistance program. All new financial assistance applications at Patient Advocate Foundation will be through our TotalAssist program.

How TotalAssist can help your patients

• The great news is that TotalAssist will include nearly 150 disease-specific and health equity financial assistance funds—from cancer and rare diseases to chronic and complex illnesses.
• TotalAssist allows patients to apply their grant toward multiple out-of-pocket healthcare costs, including medication copays, coinsurance, and deductibles, health insurance premiums, office visit charges the day of treatment, and administration charges related to treatment.
• Financial assistance through TotalAssist is not a loan or discount, but is charitable funding awarded to individuals to help with eligible out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.
