Kim Baich, JD
Kim Baich, JD is a seasoned nonprofit executive with more than 25 years of experience driving strategy, operations, organizational transformation, and stakeholder engagement across the nonprofit, public, and private sectors. As Chief Innovation Officer of Patient Advocate Foundation she leads a cross-functional team dedicated to spearheading program innovation, championing organizational effectiveness, and guiding organizational-wide project management and execution—to help patients navigate, access, and afford care.
Prior to the strategic merger of Patient Advocate Foundation and PAN Foundation, Kim served as Chief Impact Officer at PAN Foundation, where she led cross-functional efforts to advance health equity, strengthen community engagement, and accelerate access to affordable healthcare. She spearheaded a national initiative to increase awareness of and participation in clinical trials among diverse populations. Kim designed and implemented cross-functional education programs that educate, empower, and sustainably engage the patient communities we serve.
Throughout her career, Kim has built a reputation as a collaborative leader—a bridge builder, systems thinker, and catalyst for growth and innovation. She held Chief Marketing and Communications Officer roles at both Feed the Children, an international hunger-relief organization, and the American Diabetes Association, where she led brand strategy, communications, media relations, and public affairs that expanded organizational reach, elevated public visibility, and advanced mission impact.
Kim formerly served as Chief Operating Officer, at Good360, where she led operations, customer service, strategic planning, and organizational growth initiatives that strengthened the nonprofit’s ability to deliver critical resources to communities in need. Earlier, as Vice President, Public Affairs and Community Relations at Giant Food of Landover, Maryland, she developed community health and nutrition initiatives and forged strategic partnerships to address wellness disparities in underserved communities.
She also held the position as Vice President of Ethics and Corporate Responsibility at US Foods, where she launched the organization’s first corporate social responsibility and diversity programs while overseeing ethics and compliance, and corporate communications. Her leadership established foundational programs that strengthened corporate culture, accountability, and community impact.
Earlier in her career, Kim held leadership positions at U.S. Postal Service Headquarters, where she designed and built what became the largest Equal Employment Opportunity mediation program in the United States, pioneering innovative approaches to conflict resolution.
Across every stage of her career, Kim has focused on building high-performing organizations, fostering strategic partnerships, and advancing solutions that improve the lives of patients, consumers, and communities.
