Jon Sellman
Chief Brand Officer at M&T Bank, where he leads brand management, advertising, sponsorships, media, and experiential engagement across the enterprise. He is responsible for shaping and stewarding the bank’s brand vision, ensuring a unified, modern expression across all customer and colleague touchpoints.
Prior to joining M&T Bank, Jon served as Managing Director, Head of Global Brand Management & Content at Citi in New York City. There, he led brand strategy, governance, visual identity, content, and strategic initiatives across markets worldwide. Since joining Citi in 2010 as Vice President of Strategic Marketing for the U.S. Retail Bank, he held multiple leadership roles spanning retail, global marketing, and enterprise brand.
With a wealth of experience across industries, Jon is a transformational leader known for elevating brands, driving measurable business impact, and building high-performing teams. His expertise spans brand strategy, integrated marketing communications, visual identity systems, sponsorship strategy, and large-scale brand transformation.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
