The announcement of this strategic merger brings together two trusted nonprofit organizations to better support you and your patients. Learn how TotalAssist supports patients with broader coverage, provides easier access, and simplifies the patient journey.

Enrolling new patients

  • You are welcome to refer or enroll patients through either organization, through June 30, 2026, if the fund you need is open.
  • Starting July 1, 2026, we will be transitioning to a combined program, TotalAssist, for all new financial assistance applications.

Current patients

  • If your patient is currently receiving financial assistance or other services from Patient Advocate Foundation or PAN Foundation, there is no immediate change to their care or services.
  • There are no changes to grant funds for grants that are current prior to July 1, 2026. A patient’s grant funds won’t change for their entire 12-month eligibility period.
  • To manage a current grant, including claims and billing, please visit your original organization and continue to use the same contact/call center, portal, and process at this time.

What will change?

  • Please note: our integration efforts are ongoing. We will provide clear and helpful guidance to our community on what to expect well in advance of any changes to processes and your online provider or pharmacy portal.
